My Hernia mesh story .

It began in 2006 ..had cut down abdominal surgery ..were on the incision was not healing ..but this surgery had made a hole in the bowel ..with that weakness it gave me a massive hernia ...l only told it would be repaired ...2 days after l had a terrible pain in that site .nausea and pain ...thinking it would go its just a hernia repair ...l was put on strong meds ..had a infection of fluids coming from the hernia site ..found it hard to eat ..their were days l could not get out of bed ..to much pain ..tests showed up nothing but found out later mesh does not show up on any testing ...for 10 years l did no knew the truth ..until l got my surgery reports ..l have a 8x4 synthetic mesh it’s plastic ...days l felt like l had the flu ..sweating badly and the pain ..get bowel obstructions ...their is no help out their ..because people do not believe that hernia mesh is a problem ..but to put plastic in people ..the body is reacting ..very day l have problems ..My life has stopped ..cannot do thing like before ..l trusted people but no longer ..they have taken my life l will never get back ...and no surgeons will remove

it to dangerous for one ...l had the right to know the complications of hernia mesh that

left me in daily pain ...yes help is needed not just for me ..but for other to afraid to come forward ..hernia mesh needs to become public awareness ..before more have

to live in pain ..
